It can be difficult for dyslexic students to learn, but thanks to leaps forward in technology, there are always new and innovative ways to make it a little easier. Our dyslexia learning center serving Wall Township area has discovered a range of apps and online learning tools specifically designed for dyslexic students. Use these forward-thinking measures for help in the classroom!
Help Is On the Way for Dyslexic Students in Wall Township
Today’s youngsters are more tech-savvy than ever, as many of them can’t imagine a world without a smartphone! This is great news for parents and educators looking for an extra avenue to assist these pupils with their studies. For starters, if they see something they want to read later, they can bookmark it for later using the Pocket app, for when you have the time to sit down and look at the article or infographic.
The primary challenge for students that need dyslexia help is reading. With that in mind, it’s advisable for dyslexic students to stock up on audiobooks so they can have the information presented to them in a way that’s a little more digestible than pages and pages of words. This is especially true for Shakespeare, which is why the Shakespeare in Bits app is so helpful!
Homework Help
Sometimes, for dyslexic students, homework can be a battlefield. Make it a little easier with OCR Instantly Pro, where you can take photos of written assignments such as worksheets and then the app will convert the photo into an audio file. Finally, after you’ve finished up that reading and writing assignment, check it with Ginger, the in-depth spellchecker that analyzes context and checks for homonyms. These issues are commonly overlooked even in the proofreading stage, so this app is the perfect fit for when you’ve been staring at the same paper for too long.
